"Tanya paints the timeless tale of the Seven Sisters, a captivating Tjukurpa (Creation) story that reveals the celestial connection between the Pleiades constellation and the notorious figure known as Nyiru, the malevolent antagonist. As the sisters embarked on their journey westward, Nyiru caught sight of them and became captivated by their beauty. Despite being of a different kinship group, Nyiru yearned to possess them desperately.

Fleeing from Nyiru's relentless pursuit, the sisters sculpted the very land they traversed, shaping the terrain with their every step. Their flight resulted in the formation of sacred rockholes, undulating sandhills, and rugged rock formations, each created in their desperate bid to escape. Eventually, they crafted a profound rockhole that delved deep into the earth, emerging on the opposite side of a hill. With swift determination, the women plunged into the water, reemerging on the other side to ascend into the celestial expanse.

Nyiru, relentless in his pursuit, plunged into the water after them, only to emerge too late. Now relegated to a position south of the seven sisters, he perpetually chases them across the vast sky, forever etched into the cosmic tapestry as a testament to his unyielding pursuit."
