"This painting represents me and my sisters. It represents my country and the river Murray where we grew up around with my mother and my father. My father is an Alice Springs (Aruntu) man. His mother is also an Aruntu woman. She gave me this story line of the Seven Sisters from Alice Springs to South Australia to my great-grandmother and father who are Kukatha people. And now, that story line of the sevens sisters travels through to Victoria because of my strong family connection. It also happens that my father has seven daughters."
