Prints by Bernadine Johnson Kemarre

Bernadine is an experienced & versatile artist from Santa Teresa, Northern Territory. Bernadine & husband Stephen Pitjara Martin paint regularly for us whilst they are in Adelaide.

Bernadine is renowned for her bush medicine trees story, which depicts the tree and root systems. She has also delved recently into a new variation of her "my country" style which is a birds eye view of her homelands. She uses classic symbolage which represents women's ceremonies and business, as well as all the flowers, wildlife and bush tucker that inhabits her lands. 

The beautiful paintings are printed in house using an Epson printer on a high quality gloss canvas, and if applicable are stretched by a local picture framer.
